EXPERIENCE VETERINARY TECHNICIAN: 12/2006-03/2008: LAS VEGAS ANIMAL EMERGENCY HOSPITAL – Las Vegas, NV Provided nursing care to patients and technical support to staff and veterinarians, including significant responsibility for the treatment of patients with life-threatening illness/injury, whose conditions were likely to change on a moment to moment basis. Performed work in a busy emergency practice, including interacting with and educating clients, laboratory management and analysis, radiology and ultrasonagraphy, surgery (including pre, peri and post op), and pharmacy; maintain inventory; maintain facility. Duties included integrating new staff members, and client interaction.
