27 Aug 06 I am looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to work in a very progressive, rapidly growing and very well established small animal practice in Southern Johnson County. The practice has two veterinarians, two full-time veterinary technicians and a full-time general manager on staff in addition to two receptionists, four animal caretakers, two groomers and a dog trainer. We have a state of the art new facility in the hospital, which was opened in May, 2003 and a brand new boarding and grooming facility which was renovated and opened in August, 2005. We offer behavioral consultations, pain management/therapy and nutritional management/therapy in addition to small animal medicine and surgery, radiology, advance dentistry, laboratory and ultrasound diagnostics. The ideal candidate must have excellent people skills and be very customer service oriented. They must be willing to actively participate in client education. The candidate must be willing to help with the reception desk with checking people in and out and answering the phone when needed. This practice prides itself with having knowledgeable people in the front line to communicate and educate its clientele.
